Students should plan on making between 20-30 items of their product. All products are due to school by Monday, May 22nd for our classroom market.
Reading Requirement
Our reading requirement of 4 books and AR test passed at 70% or higher has renewed for the 4th Quarter. This requirement is a great way to prepare students for their upcoming end of year assessments.

Reading Benchmark-
Word Study- Review suffixes
Writing- Students will be creating a multimedia presentation.
Vocabulary- Use context clues to determine meaning of words and phrases. Use word relationships to determine meaning.

We will be reviewing in preparation for our summative math assessment.
Next Week In Science
Friction- Students will investigate, observe, and explain that heat is produced when one object rubs against another.
Next week In Social Studies
Economics- Students will learn the characteristics of money (divisible, recognizable, portable and durable) and will understand what makes legal tender easy to use.
Homework
Students' nightly homework assignments will generally consist of reading for 30 minutes, a lesson on iReady reading, a lesson in PENDA science, and a math practice page. Please see student planners for exact daily homework.
