Textbook Exchange
We will be exchanging our textbooks on Thursday, April 8- Friday, April 9. I will leave a bin out in front of the school with an envelope of materials that also contains their new books. You may come any time to pick up the materials and drop off their current textbook. I ask that you put your students name on a sticky note on their current textbook and place it in the bin with the envelopes. I will pull the bin inside the school by Friday at 3pm, so please make sure you exchange the book before then. If you need to make other arrangements, please let me know.
iReady Diagnostic
Our class is scheduled to take the iReady diagnostic April 19, 20, and 27 from 8:15- 9:15 am. Please plan on having your student attend all three days. Students need to be on campus by 8:05. Students need to bring a mask and set of headphones to use for testing.

Phonics/Phonemic Awareness: diagraphs, ou, ow
Comprehension: Describe characters, settings, and major events in a story, using key details
Spelling words: how, now, cow, owl, ouch, house, found, out, gown, town
FRY words- name, good, sentence, man, think
Vocabulary: blossoms, cavern, shady, ledge, lugging, shallow
Next Week In Math
We will continue learning money, specifically how to count coins to a $1. Students should know the various ways to make a $1. (100 cents= $1,
4 quarters=$1, etc)
Homework
Monday- Put spelling and FRY words in ABC order
Tuesday- Math Problem
Wednesday- Read, The New Friend
Thursday- Math Problem
Students should read a minimum of 20 minutes each evening.
